Moxie* represents the work of a handful of artists on a regular basis, but from time to time I end up with a few pieces from artists who don’t normally show art here. At the moment I have a couple of small (10″ x 8″) acrylic paintings by Nova Scotian artist Shelley Mansel, and one acrylic painting by New Brunswick artist Nancy Morin. Can I be crass? Yes, of course I can, it’s my blog and I can do anything I want. These pieces are a deal, and I have them for a short while only. Shelley Mansel is an up-and-coming artist whose 8 x 10’s are fetching around $900. And i am offering these flower paintings by her for $499… If I don’t sell them, they will go to another dealer, who will put the price up immediately.
